I was traveling for most of the summer.
One of my stops along the way was Detroit, where I was honored to meet fellow writer and illustrator Andrew Warrick in Levonia, Michigan. Andrew is nearly family to me and he did a wonderful job of reading to family and friends from a book that I have recently illustrated entitled "Crazy Old Aunt Helen" by Janet Carlson Sanders.
